Located in Moscows ‘embassy belt’, the competition required that the residential led scheme provide for high-end accommodation within a variety of typologies, all supported by a full range of leisure and spa/resort facilities.
The radial plan arrangement focused on one locus of the oval geometry of the existing lake while the massing took cues from the surrounding built form and orientation. Residential units were accommodated in the upper levels of either the lower winter courtyard buildings or tower elements.
All vehicular movement and parking facilities were located at basement levels, allowing free and unencumbered pedestrian movement through variously scaled and landscaped courtyards.
